I have spent most of my adult life helping people see better in the physical world through the practice of Optometry.  However in the last few years I find myself being pushed from some unknown place to help people “see better” in a different way.  I am now writing (blog and book) to share a particular perspective about religious belief (not any particular belief, but about the process of belief in general) that should help increase religious tolerance in the world.  Though this is not a topic I could ever have pictured myself choosing in my younger days, at this time I can hardly imagine anything more important that I might do.
